Professor David Fuks is Head of the Department of HPB and Endocrine Surgery at the University Hospital Cochin in the center of Paris. He specializes in minimally invasive hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery.

He is Chief of Surgical Simulation and is a member of the pedagogical commission at Paris Cite University dealing with digital and simulation. David Fuks is the author of more than 300 peer-reviewed scientific papers and his H index is at 52.

Go Wakabayashi earned his degrees from Keio University School of Medicine, Tokyo, Japan. Trained at the Department of Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. In 2005 was appointed as a Professor and Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Iwate Medical University School of Medicine. In April 2015, was recruited as Director of the Center for Advanced Treatment of HPB Diseases, Chief of Surgical Services, and Deputy Director at Ageo Central General Hospital, a flagship hospital among 6,000 beds complexes near Tokyo. His expertise includes Hepato-Pancreatic Biliary Surgery, liver transplantation, and laparoscopic surgery. Performed the first robotic surgery in Asia in March 2000 and the first robotic hepatectomy worldwide in July 2001.

Publications are over 300 peer review articles and book chapters.

Was the President of the International Laparoscopic Liver
Society from 2019 to 2021 and now has become the Immediate Past President. Currently is the President of the Endoscopic Liver Surgery Study Group in Japan and Vice President of the International Society for Digestive Surgery.

Jong Man Kim received his MD from the Korea University in 2000 and trained in the Department of Surgery, Korea
University Medical Center until 2005. 

From 2008 to 2011, he worked as a fellow in the Transplantation Division, Department of Surgery, Samsung Medical Center, Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine in Seoul, Korea. 

He studied solid organ transplantation and HCC in those periods.
He completed his Ph.D. (Korea University, 2009), which subject was immunotherapy using a 4-1BB antibody against
cancer. As a professor, his career has continued in the Department of Surgery, Samsung Medical Center, Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine until now (2023).

He operated on laparoscopic liver resection in liver malignancy and living liver donor and has studied for HCC
hepatectomy patients. He has performed many prospective clinical trials, and international multicenter registration
studies and thus published many papers. In addition, he has operated on living or deceased donor liver
transplantation. 

His focusing projects were minimal invasive surgical techniques, surgical techniques of liver
transplantation, ABO-incompatibility, HCC, and immunosuppression in liver transplantation. He published
approximately 350 articles related to liver transplantation and/or HCC in the Journal of Hepatology, Hepatology,
Annals of Surgery, British Journal of Surgery, Liver Transplantation, and Transplantation.

Dr. Yutaka Saito is the Director of the Endoscopy Division at the National Cancer Center Hospital, Tokyo,
Japan. He also has served as an attending Professor of Gastroenterology at Tokyo Medical University
since April 2017.

He has been invited to perform as a faculty member and live demonstrator in numerous countries. He was
honored for an invited professor at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota and Jacksonville, Florida in 2010,
and at Arizona in 2016.

He was also commended for Basil Hirschowitz Master Endoscopist Award for advancing the art and
science of endoscopy throughout the world in 2013 and Certificate of appreciation of Outstanding
